NAINA Awards & Scholarships:

Call for nominations coming soon!!! Submission Deadline: August 1, 2026

The National Association of Indian Nurses of America (NAINA) is pleased to announce the call for nominations for awards and scholarships to be presented at NAINA’s 10th Biennial Conference 2026. These awards recognize the outstanding contributions of nurses and NAINA chapters across various categories, celebrating excellence in leadership, scholarship, innovation, and service to the community.

Purpose:
NAINA awards and scholarships honor nurses and chapters who exemplify professional excellence, compassionate care, leadership, and dedication to advancing nursing practice and healthcare equity. These awards provide an opportunity to recognize extraordinary individuals and teams whose work impacts patients, communities, and the profession.

Eligibility – Nominee:

Be a paid virtual member of NAINA or any of the NAINA chapters
Actively participate in the chapter or NAINA activities
Must have registered for the Biennial conference at the time of awards submission
Be present at the Biennial conference awards ceremony to receive the award

Eligibility – Nominator:

NAINA members, colleagues, patients, family members, or other professionals familiar with the nominee’s contributions may submit nominations.
Nominators must have the nominee’s permission to provide their information, photograph, and a short bio (maximum 100 words) for submission.

Application Requirements:

For individual awards: A narrative (≤200 words), a photo, and a short biography
For chapter awards: A narrative (≤200 words), supporting documents and pictures demonstrating impact and excellence

Exclusion Criteria:

Incomplete or late submissions will not be considered.
Submissions containing falsified or misrepresented information will be disqualified.
Submissions that do not follow the provided instructions will not be accepted.

Award Period: August 2025 – June 2026
This period refers to the timeframe during which the nominee’s accomplishments and contributions must have been achieved. Only activities and achievements completed within this period will be considered for the award.
